Hello there! It’s a new year, and I am upgrading my website’s “Blog” section. I have included ten essays and one short story that I have not placed on the site before. Also, for the first time ever, I posted five articles I had never shown anyone before. One is from volume six, and four are from volume five. Even though I did post “The Pride” on my Facebook page, it is also on the blog page as well! The reason being I don’t have many articles completed for Volume six. I wanted to put at least one on the page for 2023.
The following four essays are from Volume Five, which didn’t get placed on the Facebook page because the year came to a close. So, if you are reading this on my Facebook page, you will need to go to my website: http://crosbyscorner.com, to look at these newly posted essays, on the blog. One reason why I posted them on the blog is to get more people to go to my blog page. Hey, it’s free to you, but I am paying to have this website domain, and I would appreciate a larger audience, so why not to go to it and take a look around? I admit, the site needs some upkeep, but the new, never before seen stuff, will be there waiting for you to come to take a look. Just use the Blog tab at the top of the page.
The new stuff is as follows: V6, #003 (Detroit Lions & Pittsburg Steelers) “Pride,” from V5, #115, Pie, V5, #116, “Comfort Food,” V5, #117, “For Tony Caridi and the Three Guys,” and lastly there is #120, “Road Trip.” After those brand new essays, there is one essay from each volume 1-5. I have a blast going through those older volumes to pick out something you might like. Oh, and before I forget, I did leave behind some of the ones I posted last year. They were ones I believe deserve another look.
Finally, I posted a short story. This month’s story is “What The Hell Is This?” Yes, I am the bad guy in this story. Briefly, it’s about the first three meals my wife served me as a married couple. Who knows, some of you who have been married for some time might see a little bit of yourself or your significant other in the main characters.
