Angela Harrison is tasked to create a team of specialists and then travel to St. David, Arizona, to investigate the needless death of a teenager by a pack of bloodthirsty vampires. What they find in this small southwestern town is far from the ordinary situation. Angela leads her team of crack investigators, which includes a computer wizard and his wife, and a disgraced ex-FBI agent turned lawyer. There is a small-town college professor who researches paranormal & mythological activity. Jake Taylor is also a FBI agent and resident Werewolf, and Erin Hasting, the unfortunate victim in the vampire uprising in St. David, who is now one herself. Rounding out the team is the latecomer to the group, Kira Knight, a changeling. Join this ragtag group of investigators as they get used to working with one another while trying to investigate the diabolical plans of the dreaded Master Gardener. –David C. James
